Key specs explained
Active Noise Cancelling
This feature uses technology to detect and neutralize external sounds, allowing you to focus on your audio without distraction. It is ideal for travelers or office workers who need to block out ambient noise. When shopping, compare this with passive isolation, which relies solely on physical seal. Active cancellation offers deeper silence in loud environments.
24 hours battery life
You get up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge, covering long workdays or flights. A quick 15-minute charge provides 2.5 additional hours if you forget to plug in overnight. This is practical for users who do not want to worry about daily charging. Compare this duration with competitors offering shorter runtimes for longer trips.
Over-Ear fit
The earcups fully enclose your ears, providing a secure seal for better sound isolation and comfort. Plush cushions soften pressure points during extended listening sessions. This style suits users who prefer maximum noise blocking and comfort over lighter in-ear options. Check the size options to ensure the earcups match your ear shape for the best seal.
Bluetooth multi-point
You can connect to two devices simultaneously, such as a laptop and a phone, without disconnecting. This allows seamless switching between calls and media. It is essential for professionals who juggle multiple devices throughout the day. Compare this with single-point Bluetooth models that require manual reconnection when switching sources.

According to the listing, the Bose QuietComfort Over-Ear Headphones feature plush earcup cushions that softly hug your ears. A secure and comfortable padded band keeps the headphones in place during extended listening sessions. This design prioritizes physical comfort for users who wear the device for long periods.
