Color and Build Variations

color options

Edge: Focal Bathys Wireless ANC Headphones

Product A, the Focal Bathys Wireless ANC Headphones in DEEP Black, offers four distinct color variations for you to choose from. The available palette includes Black/Gray, Dune, Deep Black, and Midnight Blue. This gives you more flexibility in matching your personal style or existing gear. Product B is listed as the Focal Bathys High-Fidelity Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones in Dune. The data for this specific listing shows only two color options: Dune and Deep Black. If you prefer the Midnight Blue or Black/Gray finish, Product A is your only choice. The variety in Product A ensures you can find a look that suits you best without compromising on the core audio performance.

driver specifications

Edge: Tie

Both headphones utilize identical 1 5/8-inch (40mm) aluminum-magnesium speaker drivers, manufactured in France. This shared component ensures that the core sound signature remains consistent across both models. You can expect naturally detailed, pure sound with impact from either pair. The driver technology is not a differentiating factor here. Whether you select the DEEP Black version or the Dune renewed model, the acoustic engine is the same. This consistency means you do not have to trade audio quality for color preference. The build of the drivers contributes to the high-fidelity reputation of the Bathys line. You get the same musical detail and clarity regardless of which specific SKU you purchase.

battery performance

Edge: Tie

Both models provide over 30 hours of battery life when using Bluetooth and active noise cancelling mode. This endurance is sufficient for long trips or extended listening sessions without needing a recharge. Both also support fast charging, delivering five extra listening hours in just 15 minutes. This feature is practical for when you forget to charge overnight. The power management is identical in the specifications. You do not need to worry about one model lasting significantly longer than the other. The aluminum mechanical construction supports this reliability on the move. Your listening time will not vary based on the color or the renewed status of the device.

noise control

Edge: Tie

Active noise cancelling technology is present in both products, allowing you to immerse yourself in your music. Both models also include a transparency mode, enabling you to interact with your environment when needed. Product A specifies two optimized noise-cancelling modes alongside the transparency option. Product B lists active noise cancelling and transparency mode but does not explicitly detail the number of optimized modes in the provided data. However, since they share the same model lineage and features list, the functionality is likely identical. You can block out ambient noise or stay aware of your surroundings with either pair. The noise control experience is a key shared strength.

physical dimensions

Edge: Tie

The physical footprint of both headphones is exactly the same. Product A and Product B share identical width, height, and length measurements. They both measure 8.46 inches in width, 3.35 inches in height, and 9.45 inches in length. The weight is also consistent at 12.3 ounces for both. This means the fit and comfort profile will be indistinguishable between the two. You will not experience any difference in how they sit on your head or neck. The magnesium yoke provides increased lightness in both versions. The size specifications confirm that the design is uniform across all color variants. Your comfort levels will remain stable regardless of your color choice.
