- Lightweight 3.53-ounce over-ear design
- Dual Noise Sensor technology for adaptive sound
- Multipoint connection for switching between devices
Good fit for
You should consider these headphones if you wear eyeglasses or need a light pair for long sessions. The 3.53-ounce weight reduces pressure on your head. Commuters benefit from the Dual Noise Sensor technology, which adapts to your environment. Office workers appreciate the Multipoint Connection, allowing you to link a laptop and phone simultaneously. The 35-hour battery ensures you rarely need to charge during a work week. If you prefer wired simplicity or need studio-grade isolation, this might not be your best fit.
Who can skip it
Skip this model if you require deep, thumping bass or a wired-only setup. The specs highlight balanced tuning and DSEE enhancement, not heavy low-end emphasis. You also need a smartphone for the Sony | Headphones Connect app to adjust EQ or 360 Reality Audio settings. Without the app, you lose access to 20 ambient sound levels. If you dislike Bluetooth latency for gaming, look elsewhere. The microphone uses Precise Voice Pickup, but it is not a professional studio condenser mic. Serious audiophiles may want higher-resolution drivers.
Verdict
This is a practical, lightweight option for daily use. It balances comfort and battery life well.
