Who can skip it
If you require high-fidelity audiophile-grade sound or a wired connection option, look elsewhere. This model focuses on balanced audio and noise cancellation rather than extreme detail or bass response. Users who prefer physical buttons over app-based controls may find the reliance on the Sony | Sound Connect app for EQ adjustments inconvenient. Additionally, those who need extensive water resistance for intense workouts should consider other options, as no IP rating is listed. The lack of a dedicated remote or display means you manage settings primarily through the app or basic earcup controls.
Verdict
The Sony WH-CH730N offers a practical blend of lightweight comfort and long battery life for everyday use. It is a sensible choice for users who prioritize endurance and portability over audiophile-grade audio fidelity.
